In the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly, (Do people still read this magazine?) blog icon Perez Hilton announced he will be starting his own record label. Let it be known that I have no problem with Perez most of the time. Who he is and what he does are two separate things, as he has said many times before. I will defend him 9 times out of 10. But a record label? I don't know if opinion alone is good enough to run a record label, though judging by some of the acts today, it looks like that's how things are being done in the music biz. Who knows, maybe Lady Gaga will join and I'll have a change of heart. (Gagaloo for life.)
